SF-86 Federal Form for Security (CONFIDENTIAL, SECRET, TOP SECRET) Clearnace vs. Job Application
Let’s look at a the SF-86 Security Clearance Form, and compare the wording to a Job Application i have in front of me at the moment*. I’m not going to say which is which. You should be able to determine which is which, but you must admit – the wording in both is striking.

* – I’m not going to disclose what & where the job is, but I will say the job pays 9$ usd / Hr and offers no benefits.
With that in mind, I’m not sure what exactly to think. Well, other then I may as well try to get security clearance while I’m being investigated.

That’s lame, you should be able to get a job like that on a handshake…
But I can relate, when I worked at the track, I had to get security clearance because the camera crew had pretty much full access to the facilities. They did a hardcore criminal background check and drug tests.
It was pretty thorough for $10 an hour, but you only worked when the ponies ran, so I got a ton of reading done that summer
